e-Games Grapevine/Gamevine

Hi guys.  I know that it’s been a while since I clocked in any updates.  It’s not because there aren’t any updates, there’s a lot of new stuff. The thing is, it’s getting harder to do updates more regularly. You see, I’ve been tapped to be one of the segment producers for MOG TV,  a gaming and technology show which airs on TV 5 Friday, 11:30PM. Check out www.mogtv.com.ph  for more details.   Not only do I have to write scripts, I also have to edit and sit down with the video editors for editing and cutting of segments. It’s a lot of hard work but I’m enjoying it. Which is why I haven’t done any updates for quite a while.  That it isn’t an excuse, so I promise, starting this month, you’ll be getting more frequent updates from e-Games and from MOG TV.

Pardon the pun, but look at these babies.

I knew that they were getting new games and I also knew that they were getting a new shooter but check “The End is Near.” It’s a new game but the campaign they’re doing is utterly different.

Let’s wait and see.

MOG TV aired its first episode and it sure looked fun!  The hosts were fun to watch and the segments were informative as well.   Here’s a first clip that I got from Youtube.

They got their own Youtube Channel. Search for AngMOGTV’s  Channel and you’ll get the rest of the segments they did.

I heard that their game segments will be more varied on the next episdoes, meaning it won’t just be about e-Games titles.  Second episode will have DOTA which is Defense of the Ancients,  tips on securing online game accounts, and more gaming reviews.   I really liked the Acer Aspire Predator gaming review although I wish they could have put in more stuff about it. But great first episode. Kudos to e-Games and TV 5  for their first  Gaming and Tech show.

I’ve been quiet recently because there’s tons of stuff happening at e-Games and I’ve been told that I should keep my mouth shut until it’s official.  But first off what’s happening this week.

First up, there’s going to be an Audition Dance Battle and ZX Online on ground event at SM South Mall in Las Pinas! If you’re in the area, you might as well go there and check out a lot of cool stuff. They’re giving away cool prizes as well.

This July 4, CABAL Online will be celebrating its first year anniversary event at the SM Annex at North Edsa.  Got their e-mail invite below.

As for the new projects at e-Games, one of our guys at e-Games gave us a sneak peek of their ongoing project.  It sounds absolutely cool and I’ll reveal more once we get the go signal to show off at least a portion of it.  They’re newest projects are so hush-hush that even I can’t reveal them yet but once it does, it blow everyone out of the water.

Stay tuned folks because we think e-Games is going for something really big.

It’s been more than a month since I updated the the e-Games Grapevine/Gamevine. Blame it on work, but mostly on long vacations (even though it rained for the most part).  But it was a welcome respite. Now I’m back, fully recharged and I’ve got some big updates.

First up is e-Games e-Gamer Millionaire promo. If you’re living in the Philippines and you’re an active gamer, just buy an e-Games EP card and you get a raffle entry. This Sunday, Audition Dance Battle, one of the most popular and most played casual games in the country, is going MAINSTREAM. Yup. Audition Dance Battle is going on TV and with none other than SOP!, GMA TV’s no.1 Sunday show! It’s going to be called Audition Celebrity Dance Battle. Local celebrities will be dancing to the moves and music from Audition Dance Battle and they get to win big prizes plus half of the winnings will be given to a charitable institution. It’ll happen this Sunday (May 10) and will last for four (4) weeks.

There’s only one word that can describe Domination 3,  e-Games and X-Play’s biggest gaming event of the year.  Wow.

Thousands of players attended. Huge amounts of prizes given away.  Performances from the most popular local bands and artists.  Tournaments that awed thousands all in one kick-ass event.   The e-Games Content Group was kind enough to give me the permission to post their live blog event (courtesy of Coveritlive) in this blog.

It’s three weeks before e-Games Domination III and e-Games has got a chock full of cool gaming events, tournaments and entertainment. It’s going to be held this April 4, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia.  We heard from an e-GAmes peepz who’s directly involved in the event that it’s going to be bigger  and people will be blown away by the incredible set up.

Sounds really cool. Can’t wait to see it!  Check out the official Domination III video below.

They got cosplays, tournaments, entertainment courtesy of GMA, offline activities and more! They even have a live blog session happening on the day itself! That’s way awesome. I think I’ll do the live blog in the morning of the event and even twitter about it.   So if you’re in the Philippines during that time, you might as well swing by and check it out.  But you might want to pre-register you can avoid the long lines at the event.

It’s close to a month and I’ve got a boatload of updates!

First up is the incredibly succesful launches of Audition Dance Battle Season 2 and ZX Online: Journey to Immortality.  Close to 2,000 people attended the back-to-back events.  The Audition crowd was incredible and there were tons of stuff that happened! Check out the pics below.
