Audition Celebrity Dance Battle, the first TV dance contest based on the highly popular Audition Dance Battle debuted on Philippine National TV last Sunday. It was shown at SOP, popular GMA TV Sunday musical variety show.

X-Play is all geared up for the Sunday musical variety show SOP as it launches Audition Celebrity Dance Battle, the first TV dance game based on the highly popular Audition Dance Battle. Eight Kapuso stars will groove and dance using Audition Dance Battle music and moves to win Php100,000 half of which will be given to charitable institution.
And we heard from a very reliable source at X-Play that after the Audition Celebrity Dance Battle, there will be an even bigger announcement. What that is? Tune in the next several days for the update!
Our peeps at X-Play told me that the Audition Celebrity Dance Battle’s launch at GMA TV’s SOP show has been moved to May 17. But on this Sunday, they’ll make a pre-event announcement at SOP. Adjust your schedules and be sure to watch it on May 10 but expect the action to happen starting on May 17! Later dudes and dudettes!
It’s been more than a month since I updated the the e-Games Grapevine/Gamevine. Blame it on work, but mostly on long vacations (even though it rained for the most part). But it was a welcome respite. Now I’m back, fully recharged and I’ve got some big updates.

Audition Dance Battle is going on TV and with none other than SOP!, GMA TV’s no.1 Sunday show! It’s going to be called Audition Celebrity Dance Battle. Local celebrities will be dancing to the moves and music from Audition Dance Battle and they get to win big prizes plus half of the winnings will be given to a charitable institution. It’ll happen this Sunday (May 10) and will last for four (4) weeks.

There’s only one word that can describe Domination 3, e-Games and X-Play’s biggest gaming event of the year. Wow.
Thousands of players attended. Huge amounts of prizes given away. Performances from the most popular local bands and artists. Tournaments that awed thousands all in one kick-ass event. The e-Games Content Group was kind enough to give me the permission to post their live blog event (courtesy of Coveritlive) in this blog.
It’s three weeks before e-Games Domination III and e-Games has got a chock full of cool gaming events, tournaments and entertainment. It’s going to be held this April 4, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia. We heard from an e-GAmes peepz who’s directly involved in the event that it’s going to be bigger and people will be blown away by the incredible set up.

They got cosplays, tournaments, entertainment courtesy of GMA, offline activities and more! They even have a live blog session happening on the day itself! That’s way awesome. I think I’ll do the live blog in the morning of the event and even twitter about it. So if you’re in the Philippines during that time, you might as well swing by and check it out. But you might want to pre-register you can avoid the long lines at the event.
It’s close to a month and I’ve got a boatload of updates!
First up is the incredibly succesful launches of Audition Dance Battle Season 2 and ZX Online: Journey to Immortality. Close to 2,000 people attended the back-to-back events. The Audition crowd was incredible and there were tons of stuff that happened! Check out the pics below.

Audition Dance Battle’s Season 2 is coming up and they’re launching it big time with a grand event at the Robinson Place Manila’s Midtown Atrium. What’s Season 2? It’s Audition Dance Battle’s newest patch and it’ll give a whole new look to Audition plus new dance modes, more Filipino artists and dozens of new fashion accessories and more. Aside from Audition, X-Play’s other hot properties O2JAM and Top Speed will be there to give casual game players more stuff to win and do.
ZX Online: Journey to Immortality is going commercial and this happens on March 8, the day after and in the same venue. It’s going to be big as it will have an old world china backdrop, lion dance and wushu exhibitions. Both events are giving away a lot of in-game items that amounts to tens of thousands of ePoints and more.

But better late than never because e-Games has got a lot of cool stuff coming out this year.
